275 Tune Dyno Pulls
Here is the long-anticipated dyno graphs of the new 275RWHP tune.
All pulls were done on Hunter Detweiler's truck (08'STROKER), with a JD/AC engine/transmission calibration. The following numbers are uncorrected at 2100ft altitude. The truck ONLY has a DPF/DOC delete and an AFE Stage II intake, no other modifications. A Zex nitrous kit was used on the last pull. The base 275 tune put down 557 peak RWHP, settling in and holding over 540RWHP to the rev limiter. Note how the 275 tune picks up power quicker and holds it much longer. The lower line, the base 250 tune, put down 543RWHP peak and settled in at 515RWHP. All defueling is removed from both tunes They are as consistent as we could ever hope for. The last run was made with a .088 shot of nitrous on a Zex kit, with the 275HP tune- no other modifications. 644RWHP, Our best pull to date. It will be very interesting to see what happens with more CP3, more turbo, and injectors.... Sadly, we were not able to get torque readings on any of these pulls due to continuing electrical problems with the dyno (and such is the hold-up on continuing our intake testing) but the issues will hopefully be resolved soon. Please keep in mind that since there is no RPM reading, the X-axis of the graph is in Time (Seconds) instead of RPM. You can view the graph HERE |

I would think my only concern would be EGTs, would be intresting to see if an aftermarket IC would tame it enough.

Yea it would but would be old refilling that everytime just to run the 275 as a daily driver tune.
