AFE = CEL

Why does this intake cause the CEL to come on and how can it be fixed? It really bothers me to see this knowing its cause by the intake. I'm thinking about going back to the stock intake but the dealer wants $600 for it. What can I do to fix this problem? I'm kinda leaning towards going back stock or trying the s&b unit. Any suggestions????

too much air. i have heard this about a few brands. some trucks are maf sensitive. you can restrict air via a tube sock or something but it goes against the goal. my truck did this with the quadzilla green setup and i have heard it about amsoils injen and bully dog. i went to a drop in airraid replacement and no trouble

Spend more money and get a dpf delete tuner... Mine did it before I got my Spartan. In fac,t I haven't had a single code with my Spartan. It will pay for itself with the fuel savings. But you may be rolling the dice with your warranty even though it supposed to be undetectable.
