SCT 1.22 r&d Tune

Anyone out there have the 1.22 r&d tune that they could pass along?

I seem to have lost that particular file.

Thanks in advance.

I am confused, if the tune version in my SCT says i am running 1.2.2, is that the same one as the R&D tune? I just got the Spartan on the 210 and it feels like the SCT has a lot more power than the Spartan. I was not expecting that as i did not think the SCT had nearly that much power. Is the R&D tune a 250HP tune? THANKS

Per the tuner that put the 1.22 R&D tune together, it is putting 500 HP to the ground.

I still do not understand. Why does the SCT feel like it has more power than the Spartan. EVERYONE recommended the Spartan over the SCT....

I don't know that one makes more power over the other since I only have the SCT. I dont think SCT has released dyno numbers on 1.22 or the R&D 1.22 (I could be mistaken). What I *do* know from real world testing is that the SCT 1.2x tunes are inconsistent. One time it will run good, one time it will run horrible. Lots of P2263 codes, major inconsistencies in EGT's, fuel mileage, shifting, etc etc. Rumor has it that there is a new release in the works from SCT.. lets hope they fix the many things that are broken - and most importantly get some consistency back into these trucks.

It has been my understanding from those who have the Spartan 250:
(1) unmistakenly significantly more power than SCT's 1.22
(2) its performance, whether sled pulling, drag racing, or towing is consistent across the board.
(3) no codes
(4) dashdaq display is much sexier than SCT's display

Did you take your truck to the track with the SCT so you could compare it with the Spartan?
Where does the power feel less than the SCT? Low? Mid? High?

Perhaps you should contact them and they can help you troubleshoot any issues you may not be aware of.

I am about to go take it for another test run. 210 tune on the way to the gas station, 150 tune on the way back. Last night when i tried it out, it was dramatically less in all aspects vs the SCT. With the spartan on there, it almost felt like it was stock minus the DPF. I have not taken it to the track yet, i need to. I swear i have every programmer ever made for the 6.4.
