spartan 250 tune miss shift??

Does anyone feel like their trans is missin third wot with the 250 tune ?? my truck falls flat on its face but only in two wheel drive it doesnt do it in fourwheel drive! By the this tune is freakin nasty bad a** ! its runs awesome ! I'm going to the track tomorrow night so i should have videos and time slips 1/8 mile style im thinkin its gonna run low 9s with a boosted launch!

i read a post from pahrump i think and he said he was having the same issue. matt replied and said it was normal for the tranny to do that. it had something to do with the tranny actually having 6 ratios or something and it would skip gears if it could. maybe shoot matt a message. obviously i am talking way over my head but i did read something recently on this before. i think it was on spartans forum.

Same here. I feel that it drops into third a little too early, part throttle and WOT. It feels like this is where the t/c locks up in my truck?

It has happened to me as well. I don't race but every once in a while I stomp on it to keep the shifting firm. I think my tranny slipped in 3rd or 4th and it defueled immediately. I tried again a few minutes later and this it didn't defuel but slammed into 3rd or 4th pretty abrubtly. It kind a scared me a bit. I was was running the 250 for few weeks without going WOT. I probably surprised the tranny a little since I usually drive pretty easy.
