I would say get rid of the edge. I had one for about 3 weeks and my truck went into regeneration about twice aday. it sucked... Call the guys at hi performance diesel and ge a spartan tuner with the dpf delete pipe. as for the check engine light i think you can clear it with the edge tuner.

I dont think so... i did not always finish the regen.. In fact a few times it came on and 3 mins later i turned off the truck. I am sure some other guys will chime in about this. As for the DPF delete pipe and tuner you will get alot more power and better MPG. Also the Spartan tuner looks cool. i am getting about 16 mpg on the 210 tune and I have a heavy foot.

What do you mean when you say you didn't let the regen finish?

my edge tuner would say " regen on, do not turn off truck" or something like that and when i got to where i was going i would turn it off. as far as i know it can not finish the regen with the truck off.

MY EDGE FLASHES RED SAYING DPF REGENERATION IN PROGRESS AND IT STAYS ON UNTIL YOU HIT ENTER, BUT THE STOCK LCD ON THE DASH SAYS CLEANING DPF FILTER IN PROGRESS UNTIL COMPLETE. THEN IT SAYS FILTER CLEANING COMPLETED.

AS FAR AS THE DPF DELETE HOW DOES THAT WORK WITH THE DEALER AND SERVICES

You are on your own if you take the DPF off. Your warranty will be voided

THATS WHAT I FIGUERED SO I WILL PROBABLY BE MORE CAREFUL IN LETTING IT FINISH. YESTERDAY I CLEARED THE CODES AND THIS MORNING DROVE OUT FOR COFFEE AND NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. I NORMALLY KEEP IT IN 0 UNLESS WE ARE TAKING A LONG TRIP I WILL PUT ON MILAGE OR IF TOWING, IN TOW MODE. I DIDNT BUY IT FOR A RACE TRUCK JUST FOR LOOKS,RELIABILITY, TOWING ATVS,UTVS, AND FAMILY VACATIONS.
