New Dyno and intake testing
Happy to report that Scott (Nutty) made it back safely from his trip to pick up our shop dyno. We now have portable Mustang MD-250-P eddy current at our disposal for tuning:Thumbup:
One of the very first things I'm going to be doing is some intake testing. We will be checking for the accuracy of the MAF sensor and power delivery fluctuations between the following brands- AFE 6.4L (with torque tube and PG7 filter) S&B 6.4L Banks 6.4L Volant 6.4L (with fender air box) XDI 6.4L. Once we are done, I'll post the results here. We will be starting with a baseline of our 275HP tune with a stock intake; then a seperate baseline with a totally open intake with no filter. MAF readings and peak power of both will be compared to the other intake brands. |

Sadly, we didn't get to dyno at Commerce as Dunbar was really booked by the time we showed up.
I haven't measured the rollers to see if the wheels need to come off. How do you think Flat Rock will like me running this thing in my driveway?

If you could also - when you get caught up, LOL- see at what point that an cai and exhaust become a must. I know that there are a few of us running the 210 tune with no other changes. It will be interesting to see what you find out!!!
