What programmers are still available for DPF delete??

Ok so my dads 6.4 finally plugged off the DPF and Im trying to find a programmer but Im not sure which ones are capable of doing this and which ones are not since the EPA crackdown not looking for big power gains or anything just want the truck to run again.

You got Spartan, H&S, SCT, and DPF-R. I run an SCT 9625OR with custom tunes and im quite fond of it. If you just want to delete the DPF and EGR get the DPF-R , it a good price and you get your money worth, and they also have an 70HP Eco tune version also.

There are two versions, the DPFR and the DPFR 4 plus. The first version deletes the DPF, shuts off the EGR system and leaves the stock hp/timing settings. The plus model has the standard tune (described above) and also a 70 hp economy tune setting. You plug the tuning device into the OBD II port and follow the voice guided instructions. It is really very simple and guides you right through the process. There is also a flow chart in the manual which follows the voice commands in a flow chart.

I ran the plus model for a year and it is great. It keeps the stock transmission settings and the bump in hp is definitely felt. I averaged 14 to 17 mph depending on the percentage of city and hwy miles. I now have an SCT and run Gearhead tunes which are awesome but more money.

Hope that helps.

For SCT, you can use either a 3015 R model or Livewire 9625 OR to do a dpf deleted 6.4.

I just ordered the DPF-R 4.0 Plus with AFE SS CAT/DPF delete pipe for my dads 6.4 last night. its all he needs for what he uses it for. no need for the extra expense of the big $ tuners. $712 shipped from Performance Truck Products.

DPF-R | FEK40AFE2 | Ford 4.0 Plus Programmer with aFe CAT/DPF Delete Race Exhaust (Stainless Steel)

I personally run a Livewire 9625OR w/ IDP, Gearhead, and KEM tunes and i love it. Just wish it would old more than just 3 custom tunes.

P8ntballn2.....when was the last time you updated your SCT? it should have room for more now. I updated my buddies tuner when he got a new custom tune for his 6.0 and it now has 7 spots for custom files. id look into it!
