With the Spartan tune, Matt has stated that the fast shifts are actually good for the OEM trans, and helps it live longer......
I did have a trans failure, and I ran an Edge Evo first on my truck, BUT I feel the trans with my truck was not good from day 1......, and I burned the 5 gear clutch.
SEVERAL people are making in excess of 600 WHP and still have no issues with their trans'!?

At what power level are you guys with the Spartan or sct tuners starting to slip your converter or is it a non issue with the torqshift? The reason that I ask is with my Cummins and the 48Re auto it started to slip badly with just a mild chip. So I guess my question is at what hp and tq do you need to start thinking about doing tranney mods?
