CAI + mileage

I have a little spending money, and I'm torn between adding a sub/amp or getting an S&B CAI.

Did anyone notice an increase in fuel economy with the installation of a CAI?

If you get a sub/amp you won't care what the intake sounds like, since you'll be listening to music all the time. I didn't even a sound change when I got my SCT and I still get the P2263 code, didn't do anything for me running a SCT r&d tune over the stock intake.

Ford did a good job of the factory intake for the 6.4's. Yea it doesn't flow as well as an S&B but it's still pretty kick *** for a stock unit.

If you plan on eventually removing the DPF go for the CAI, but if you're gonna leave your truck stock go for the subs.
