SCT R&D mpg ?

Just wondering if u guys r getting better mpg with the R&D or the regular 1.22 tune? I am running the regular tune and my lie o meter shows 15.5 mpg. but when i hand calc it , it is always around 11 mpg. I do drive the truck pretty hard and it weighs a little over 9,000 lbs but i still think it should get better mileage. How do u get the R&D tune? i keep hearing about it but have no idea really what it is. Does it have better top end power than the 1.22? Any input on my questions would be greatly appreciated.

I have been getting about 18-19mpg in town in my F450 with the R&D tune.
