Job 1,2, or 3

I see all of this Job 1, job 2, and job 3 things. I do I know which one my truck is? The reason that I want to know is because I am going with the Spartan tuner with dpf delete. I see some guys with a Job 1 and not seeing much of an improvement in fuel economy. All I really want is better mpg's. Can anyone help here?

From what I have been reading, I am screwed. The job 1 is not getting results while tuned. Is there anything I can do?

Send a message via AIM to eric.davis
take it to the ford dealership and have them reflash your truck to a job 3. and then you will get the better mpg. just do that before you order your truck because you only get new tunes sent for a reflash once from spartan and i believe after that its $100

Is that the reflash that puts the regen cycle status on the display? If it is the Ford dealer I go to said they tried to reflash a truck and the computer crashed in it, so they are not recommending that reflash untill they figure out why it did that.

Take it to another dealer. You're entitled to, and definitely want, that reflash.

Definitely get the reflash done...amazingly enough Ford Diesel Service Reps and Diesel Techs aren't as savvy as you would hope they are (in some cases....I know there are some out there who are pretty good!). It has been my experience that you can learn a lot more about these trucks here than what the dealership guys know...kinda disappointing, but ya just gotta find a good one!

Does the reflash to Job 3 make any difference MPG wise?
