I have gone over 100 with my 5er in my C1500 6.5TD.

With either truck you can hardly tell it's back there around 85 mph. It seems like it starts pushing.

The tires should be OK for a while. Check this out.

I guess the next thread will be a 100mph club pulling a fiver? Anyone ever done that? Saw a nice jack knife the other day of an xl SD pulling a tripple axle trailer loaded, over loaded, with busted up old concret. He made a sudden lane change and in a flash he was facing the wrong way without his trailer which went for a hundred yards or so before stopping. No injuries to other vehicles by some miricle.
yeah i never said it was smart or safe but i had to get where i was going as fast as i could and i was like 16 or 17 so that may have some effect to it, but it didnt feel as dangerous as it did in the mustang

In a mustang it just feels faster i think cause u r so low to the ground. Hey, we've all done stuff like that but at that speed if a tire goes its, bye bye baby..........I made a post ealier about over 90 being a felony violation in Ca. I noticed you live in Covina. Just be careful, don't want any psder's in the pokey.

Cruisin at 75 for an houre or so took her to 110 and check engine light came on so backed off to 75 and light went out. not sure why light came on. the truck was stable on some sweeping bends on 77 in West Virginia.

thats interesting. could be that at that speed some sensors were reading what the pcm thought was abnormally high so it enabled the check engine light?
