DPF Delete - Mods - Warranty
I visited my salesman today from which I purchased my 6.4 .. I asked him a risky question .. I asked him if I were to delete the dpf .. do some mods and all that good stuff .. then in the future need it serviced or if a warranty issue were to arise .. could he "make it work" for me. He told me if I were to return it to stock .. and tell him first .. he could make it happen. Have any of you experienced this type of service from your salesman?

Maybe, maybe not. My advice would be to take it up with the tech and service manager. They will give you a better answer

i have exp this with the servise manager he would easly over look exhaust, box, and intake fell him out first he dosent need to no who u are ya no go to a diff dealer and talk to him

My salesman is the good friend and he basically run's the family owned Ford dealership, and if it's a normal 6.4L failure he said no problem with warranty. I also worked at the dealership many year's ago as a apprentice and got my license so I know all the guy's and gal's that work at the dealership. I took my salesman for a ride in my truck the other day with the Spartan 250 tune and he was just amazed with the truck's power and fuel economy. We have alot of logger's that work in our area and my salesman want's me to hook them all up with the Spartan tunes and do the work my self and make a little cash on the side.

I got the same thing from my people, they actually are the ones that recommended that I look into a programmer after complaining about fuel economy. They told me to just return it to stock if a problem comes up.
