Guys,
IMHO and in all fairness, if I were buying a new tuner today, I would NOT look at SCT.
Personally, I'm satisfied with what I have, it runs great and gets great mileage in "my" truck. Others have not been so lucky.
I would be dishonest if I supported the company to this point.
They are not on the ball enough to support their current offerings, and have not supplied their dealers with the custom tuning software to support the next step in tuning either. They have no release dates, and have left Innovative without the info he needs to give me a straight answer..

Spartan on the other hand has shown the comittment to the 6.4L, and has also developed updates and have supported their current tunes to earn my respect.
Until I see a rapid change, like say...tomorrow, I would go with Spartan without any other consideration..

yeah just the fact that I contacted them both by phone and online chat with my surging problem about 6 weeks ago and that was the last I have heard from them. After that month of no contact is when I contacted Spartan and ordered their unit and couldn't be happier with the results.

My opinion is this..
If you bought an SCT, and you want a Spartan.
That's fine, buy the Spartan, but I would still keep The SCT..
It isn't going to be worth more than $400-$500 on a good day.
For that price, why not keep it and have access to all of the potential that it has down the road?
At some point, SCT will release their custom tuning software, and their network of dealers will be able to support it the way it should be supported.
Not only that, but there could be hundreds of tunes available through the SCT dealers by this time next year, so why give up that option for a few hundred dollars?
They may surprise us all........
