Thumbs up

I am running the spartan 210 tune now and I have nothing but great things to say about t. Overall MPG approx 19. It does read 21mpg when Im doing 50 or so on roads with no lights but the lights are where it will starts to drop. The shifting I feel is the most impressive part of this unit. This is my 3rd diesl truck( 03, and 05 both tuned with diablo @ 75 or 80 hp) and by far this is the smoothest driving and shifting truck I have ever experienced. I first ran the 150 tune for about a month or so and thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread but I was only getting about 15-16 mpg, decided to plug in the 210 tune and now I am sold. I can gaurantee you I willl not be going back to the 150. The 150 shifted great and the truck drove great but when you plug in the 210 and watch the MPG jump 5 mpg with just as smooth shifting, there is no question this is my favorite tune. I have a 5 inch dpf delete pipe I got from BADP (which arrived about 4 inches too short and I had to go through hell to get it lengthened because no muffler shops will work on that pipe because they know what it is going to be used for and told me it was illegal and they will have no part in that activity) with a magnaflow 5 inch SS and AFE stage 2 intake. Great performance package and figured I will pay it off by saving fuel in approx 1.5 years. I got the 120, 150, and 210 HP settings. Don't wait, get the Spartan Tuner ASAP!!!! You won't regret it.

I ran the 210 for over 2 months and loved it. I've been reading about how much better mpg's the 250 gets and well the mpgs got about 3mpg better. BBen running the 250 for 2 weeks and its great, its like having that new truck feeling again. Shifting is firm but not as smotth as the 210. I also have the 75 and 150 tune and have not used them so I can't comment on them.

All I want is better MPG. I have 410 gears, and I tow 14,000 or more everyday with it. I don't really care about how fast I go with it. I want to delete my DPF, but what can happen to me if I do? Do I get fined? At 8 mpg towing I really don't care.

I have installed the SCT delete. I tow 16k with a F350. When you see the DPF off, you will see why it takes so much fuel to regenerate it. It is literally full of ceramic bricks with pin size holes. I have not towed with it yet but I am going out this week.

So far I have seen 4mpg improvement over stock on the highway and 2mpg in town. But the numbers I am using are the best the truck got with the DPF without the regenerative fuel loss.

So on a spartan tuner how do you switch between tunes? I like to be able to switch on the fly but it seems like everyone has to reload other tunes when they want to change. Or maybe that is just a new tune that they buy?
