EGR delet and passing emissions

I have an 08 running the Spartan 210 tune. I would like to purchase a EGR delete kit but this is my daily driver. I live in Washington state and not sure about emission or what other bs law that I would have to deal with. I have no clue on how to turn a wrench. I guess what I am saying is. Would it be worth it to purchase the kit drive it and if and when I have an emissions test change it back. Keep in mind I would have to take this to a shop both times for this to happen.

Any advice would be great.

Thank you

You could put block off plates in.

Don't know where you live in Washington state (I'm in Shelton) but we don't do diesel emissions here at all, but you can go out and purchase Bullet Proof Diesel EGR coolers and use them it's somewhat safer or block off plates, I've seen people just beak the coolant connections and plugged the coolant side along with the blanks on the exhaust side. I only know of a very few shops that will remove your EGR system for you. I think you should do something as if you have ever seen a engine that had the EGR dumping into the intake it' a BIG mess in there.
