As long as it has a hood pin wire you can just use the spring setup. If the hood pin wire is grounded the truck wont start. Just run the hood pin wire to the springs, then if the springs touch the shifter they gound the wire out. Like i said i love my 990.

Also if you have a manual you can take 2 springs and put one in front and one behind the shifter under the rubber boot and run the hood pin wire to it so if its in gear the truck wont start. Your really need to get one. Also has a turbo timer that can be set to 1 3 5 or 10 mins. i have mine set at 1. That seem to cool it down enough.
Great Unit!!
One issue I recently had: I Ignored The Battery Meter! Well.... alarm was set also at time. I went to unlock and remote went off with some funny tune/chime music It would not unlock so I attempted to unlock door with key. ALARM SOUNDED AT 6:15AM ...not good. PANIC!! I tried ignition "ALARM SCREAMING". Would not even start. Luckly I had a spare in the house. YUP..
I can laugh now

Go to my previous post and click on the ebay link. That's the unit I have and it is easily programable for a stick.

Or go to Crimestopper Security Products, Inc. and look at the specs. Most of their auto starters will work with a manual tranny.

Like I said before, I've had great luck with Crimestopper but I really haven't heard anyone complain much about any of the name brand units. Just a matter of finding one that works for your application and has the features you want.

I got the AutoPage. Works great - 1 mile range on the remote. It does have the turbo timer too.

I've got the AutoPage also! Love it, in my office on the 18th floor I can still communicate with my truck in the parking garage across the street, very cool. Plus the turbo timer is very useful.
