theres no deff answer to that question. i have the same thing and ive tried afe ,S&B, and stock, even a custom and still get codes. S&B is by far the beter choice but you could still get codes. if you go with the S&B you wont get the intake code that every one else has but you still "may" get a p2263 code that some of us are getting. I agree this strategy stuff is irritating me. I just want the current tunes that are released to make my truck without any problems like the rest of you.
I have an aFe, it produces the P2002 code. I have ordered the SCT DPF delete, I heard that the delete gets rid of the codes. Will see. aFe technical support says that a new tube is on trial and when it is done testing it will be shipped to all existing 6.4's.
about 4 months now i think. we have had the hottest summer here a bunch of days over 105degrees. and i have got my egts over 1400 multiple times and have never had a problem with mine warping
go with sprartan. i wish i would have. more power, no CEL, more options on tunes and better mpg. sct has a new tune thats better than the 120hp tune. its over 200hp. install was easy and it runs better
