SCT iTSX Tuner- feedback anyone?

Thanks in advance for your input!

I'm looking for an economical option to do a cat/dpf delete on my 6.4. Not looking for crazy power and probably will do just tuner, delete pipe, and cai.

Was considering the SCT 3015OR but the iTSX provides some monitoring for just a few more bucks. Has anyone run the SCT iTSX tuner and how well did it work?

I've never ran one and I will give you the reason why I and many others haven't. The unit looks nicer than the Livewire for sure but the programming on 6.4s and other newer model trucks are very sensitive and the lack of hard wire during programming has steered many of people away from the iTSX. A simple miscommunication during programming can cause a bunch of problems

ITSX wont work on a dpf deleted 6.4.

Only options, for a SCT tuner for dpf deleted 6.4 is either a 3015 R model or Livewire 9625 OR. Neither of which you can buy new anymore, have to find one used online.

That's true but the iTSX is different then the tsx. The ITSX 4015 is the android/iPhone wireless tuner. TSX was a different model they only made for a year or so prior
Never made sense to me for the closeness in the name between the two.

I have a wireless TSX and a 3015R. I never had a problem with the TSX losing communication with the truck during a download. I am currently using the 3015R because I have custom tunes in it. Does anyone know if I can plug in the TSX and use it for the EGT guage or will it cause a problem?

You should be fine as long as you don't download a tune from it

Thank you WoodBoy. I will definitely try it. Might as well use it instead of it just sitting around. Kind of an expensive guage though. I am sure I have probably read it on here before but which tune do you like better, Innovative or Gearhead? I am currently running a RCD tune but have room for 1 more. I was thinking about Innovative's Extreme Street.

Its hard to say. They are both great tunes. I am currently running my IDP extreme street but I switch up often between IDP and Gearhead. You will be satisfied with either
