aFe 5" DPF back exhaust

Has anybody own one of these or know someone that has one?

Was it loud?
Did it make a difference in hp?

I use my truck for towing but I really don't want a super loud exhaust (gets old after awhile) but adding mods monthly

Thanks

I have a 5" mbrp and it isn't that loud at all. It is 4" dp to a 5" all the way out. No matter what brand exhaust it is they are all going to sound the same without a muffler, and all 4" are going to sound the same without a muffler. Only time it gets semi loud is when it gets high in the rpm range above 2500 rpm or so and at WOT. Still it isn't loud at WOT compared to a lot of trucks like the 6.0s and duramax. What truck do you have? We had a 4" downpipe back on a 2010 F450 and even it wasn't bad at all even though it stays in the higher rpms most of the time and had a 36' gooseneck behind it most of the time.

I have 2010 F350 Dually 6.4.
About to do the DPF delete and thought it would be a good time to replace exhaust from Dpf and back.

About to order a SCT 3015R to disable the DPF and EGR.

Afterwards replacing the down pipes with AFe down pipe.

Thanks for the info. After about 4 hours pulling RV my Lady might get tired of loud exhaust.

Lol..
You know a company the sales these with a good price?

If you are going to delete anyway i think it is kind of senseless to buy a dpf back kit. I just ordered a 5" turboback for $480 or something like that.

I have an aFe DPF delete pipe but I might need the following and have it at my house by Nov 22.

DPF Back exhaust:
Exhaust Systems DPF-Back MACH Force XP 5" DPF-Back Stainless Steel Exhaust System; Ford Diesel Trucks 08-10 V8-6.4L (td) 49-43054-B - aFe Power

Down Pipe:
Exhaust Systems Down-Pipe MACH Force XP 4" Down-Pipe*Stainless Steel Exhaust*Race Pipe; Ford Diesel Trucks 08-10 V8-6.4L (td) 49-43025 - aFe Power

I'm working with one company right now and they are offering me a good deal as they just signed a deal with aFe and they are doing all my tune work.

but I don't know if they can get the product to my house by Nov 22 so that I have all of Thanksgiving to work on this.
