Does superchips have a DPF delete tune?
My dad is tired of 13-15 mpg with his 08, he bought a superchips programmer after he got the truck and that helped a little, but now hes getting concerned after hearing that it could clog his DPF. I thought i read somewhere that superchips has a DPF delete tune, i cant find the thread so maybe im wrong?
 hes not looking for big power maybe 50-70 hp. he doesnt want to buy an SCT or spartan if he doesnt have to. ive heard that powerstroker67 makes great delete pipes, are they easy to make? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!  sorry for the long post

Sounds like he is wanting a SCT or Spartan DPF delete system. Great products. Great increase in economy. We sell alot of them. It will pay for itself in 8 months.

SuperChips isn't makeing a DPF delete programs. There were a few company's awhile ago that were using the SC module and reprogramming it with their delete tunes, but SC threatened with legal actions and everyone stopped. You're best bet now is to go with SCT or Spartan. Yep, that does mean more $$$.

I have superchips tuned by Kem performance with DPF delete if your interested. I also have a delete pipe i will sell.

I doubt you will find anyone who will reprogram the SuperChip you have. Like I said, people did it when DPF deletes just came out but SC didn't want to risk the legal battle with the EPA. If he's serious about getting one look at SCT or Spartan. These programmers can be updated with the latest tune revisions very easily, and offer infinite more options than the SuperChip.
