250HP Sand Drag Race Videos

Well I figured it was time to put the 250 tune to the test and I entered into the El Paso Sand Drags this past weekend.........I entered in the Stock Modified class because I had a stock frame, stock drivetrain, stock motor with bolt ons......but I was a "diesel" and my reply was that I was close to 9000lbs and I was running against built 302 70's bronco that were a 1/4 of my wieght...... Well you only have to watch the first 40 seconds to see how I was going to level the field, but all the drivers in the class said it was unfair that I was running and I wasn't allowed to finish......but I thought I would share this with you guys so you know the 250 tune with stacks looks like.....also not only was I going to walk with the win, but the truck was shutting down in 3rd gear, so thats why the truck looks like I let off at the end..... Mike and I are already working on that, so the truck should run even faster.

Yeah there are hot down here......75% percent of the field in all classes, but Unlimited are usually Jeeps and early Broncos

Sweet! What #'s did you run? Looks great with that single tire on the rear!

I have got both tires on in the rear .......they didn't have timing lights just lights at the start.......they just hand to guys at the end to see who won, which ended up being a huge ordeal in the higher HP classes, cuz they were so close.......yeah the truck cut out in 3rd because I would be spinning hard 1st through 2nd and when the truck would hit 3rd the tires would catch and the VSS would pick up a different speed and shock the truck, so it would shut down for a second and then come right back
