mini max trans setting??

08 f250 4X4

running HD300 as a daily driver and left the trans setting alone. what have you guys found the best trans setting for a daily driver? want to keep the trans safe also, don't mind the hard shift. thanks for your help

I settled on the s1m. Seems to work pretty good at the speeds I drive. Also, if funds permit get a set of traction bars, they sure smooth out the shifting.

I like the SL1. There are roads that are 50 mph for a stretch and my RPMs stay high and don't shift on the SM1 trans tune.

I didn't see those settings, the options it gave me was when the TC locks up and the other was low med or high?

Those ARE the settings...

S1L - Schedule 1 (4th & 5th gear lockup), Lower rpm shift points
S2M - Schedule 2 (5th gear lockup), Medium rpm shift points

Perhaps if you do a lot of driving around 45mph you might see a slight improvement in a Schedule 1 tune. Realistically... way to many variables for a definitive answer.
