Exhaust?

I purchased a 2010 6.4 F250 diesel about a year ago. I put the banks intake on it and was wondering what exhaust people were liking. I am looking for something that sounds good.

I went with the Flo-Pro 5" downpipe back no muffler, sounds amazing!
Just put it in not too long ago. It installed easily enough by myself, and there are no problems with the fit.

Flo-Pro would be the way to go, good fit & finish, no cutting or welding either. Just about anyone can install it in their driveway.

You need a tuner to run the straight pipe exhaust. Otherwise your stuck doing a dpf back kit and it doesn't do much for sound. All it will do is add in the looks department.

Thanks for the help, one more question. What is a good tuner? I want to keep the truck reliable though. I drive it for work. Thanks again for the feedback.

The tuner and the dpf delete exhaust are what going to keep your truck reliable. Spartan or H&S are the two most popular and probably the best. Or there is the dpf-r if your not looking for any power gains.

I just bought my first truck, 6.4 2008 F350.

I immediately went with:

-KEM 345 tune
-Street Diesel Performance 5", one piece, ceramic coated DOC/DPF delete pipe
-Magnaflow Performance Series 5" filter back, no muffler option.

I have nothing but good things to say about Mike from KEM, support is amazing. Fitment of the exhaust was perfect, no issues and it sounds awesome. Only thing is that I paid about 900 for just the exhaust and dpf/doc delete but in my opinion these days you get what you pay for so I don't mind spending a little more for some quality.

Most of your advice to tracklife sound as if you guys are having success deleting the DPF? I have been attempting to buy a DPF delete capable tuner for 6 months, but no one is selling them anymore....they say the DPF delete tune is locked and cannot be unlocked without approval from the EPA? I want to do what tracklife seems to be doing to his truck...just improve my exhaust, MPG, HP while maintaining a good reliable daily driver.

There are plenty of race tuners still around. I'm sure it can't be too hard to find one.
