need help with programmr and dpf delete

I bought my 08 6.4 about 2 months ago and it came with the dpf delete with it. I'm now wanting to put a tuner/programmer on, but really not wanting to spend big $$$$$. What are my options? Cause as I understand that Ive got to get a programmer that has to dpf delete ready or updated. Sorry not sure the correct way to use the right terms. Anyone help or even understand what I'm saying.

You really have two choices. Leave it as is or come off the wallet and spend some money for h&s or spartan

For about the same price you can buy an sct and custom tunes. I got lucky and found with idp tunes for 400.

what exactly are you saying?.....are you straight piped below or did the dpf delete pipe come laying in the bed ready to install...? if you are straight piped and driving the truck then you must have some kind of a tune installed. the truck just wont run without the PCM being hooked up to the sensors in the dpf and cat..........are you driving this truck? does it regen? any codes show up? whole thing don't make much sense to me.

No I'm driving the truck been about 3000 miles and no codes have came up and definitely has not been in Regan mode. I get about 16.5 mpg. Just really clueless on programmers and tuners and this whole dpf/egr stuff.
