lets talk DUAL DISC CLUTCHES
ok guys i tuned and deleted my truck and lets just say i go so much traction and alittle bit of HP now that my clutch is the week link..... dual tires tend to hook up alittle bit. Needless to say i need a clutch and it will be a dual disc
My needs.... i need to be able to drive it everyday. i dont want a on/off switch for a clutch. I need to be able to back up a trailer and pull it down the road at wide open throttle. as for pulling or drag racing? um as much as i want to i dont tend to beat my truck like that. I want to but it needs to be able to haul the rest of my race stuff to the tracks. I race other stuff not my truck... although i might pull with it someday. I do alot of highway and city driving with the truck empty 70% of the time, towing 30% of the time.
Now i know South Bend makes some good ones. and i have heard Valair are good too?? prices are both comparable so im looking for one that will hold the power and not be a light switch. What is everyone running??? how is it?? looking for good respones here?
as for power adders, i will probably go full studded, egr delete, dpf delete, spartan 310 tune, intake, upgraded intercooler and pipes, cleaned ported intake manifold, turbo wheel upgrades,, with all of that im expecting that the 650hp rated one will be ok but is that enough??? should i go more.... i DO not want to spin this new clutch......
