My build

Ok guys truck and mods are in my sig. It has 116,000 miles. I am taking it tomorrow to get a few things done.
OEM Rockers
OEM pushrods
updated radiator hoses
t-stats
both idler pulleys and belt tensioners
71mm LP turbo
6.0 exhaust manifolds
Rudy's up pipes
ported intake manifold

I know people are going to ask me about studs. I thought long and hard about it. I decided to wait to do studs until I have problems. When I have problems I will do studs and gaskets and have the heads magnafluxed and decked. I figured if it ain't broke don't fix it lol. There was a thread on the army about people cracking their block after doing studs. I didn't want to push my luck.

08 F350 cc/sb 4X4
h&s minimaxx, 5" flo pro, 4" down pipe, no limit cold air intake, dirty diesel EGR delete with intake elbow, 6.0 exhaust manifolds, custom up pipes, ported intake manifold, Apex 71mm LP turbo, Rudy's cold side pipe, diesel site coolant and transmission filter, diesel site intercooler boots, ccv mod, bilstein shocks, gogo dd solenoid, HID lights, Airdog II 165, PMF traction bars, PMF drag link, moshimoto aluminum radiator

I assume you're having the cab pulled for all this work. If so, I'd say definitely put studs in.

If I remember correctly, ARP changed their lube and torque specs to prevent cracking that occurred with the old lube. I wouldn't worry about it.

You're going to have a hell of a truck once it's done!

Yea the cab is coming up. It should be a beast for sure. Ill keep you guys posted.

Man if cab is going to be off already I would go ahead and do the studs it really isn't that much so why not but looks good man should be a good running truck

I am hoping it will be ready on Saturday. I haven't heard from him yet. I kinda hope so because I need it on Sunday. If its not ready I will have to use my grandpa's cummins

i am eager to see what it does, so i can compare mine with yours. mine has essentially the same mods, but please stud it, you dont want to pull the cab off twice if you dont need to.
