Thinking about getting the Mini Maxx awhile.

Hey guys, I just picked up my 6.4 last week and want to get a tuner for it awhile. I plan on doing the deletes later down the road but not until I do some saving up first in case something unexpected happens.
In the mean time I plan on getting a Mini Maxx. I do have some questions before I do. I did read the basic modification sticky post by the way but there were alot pages which made reading all the posts a little hard.
Anyways if I get it...
Should I get anything else because I'm getting it or can I go ahead and start saving up once I order it?
Would I be able to use gearhead tunes I heard about with the mini maxx?
I know I won't be doing any of the triple digit hp tunes but will I feel a difference at all with lets say the H&S Street: 80 HP tune?
I still got questions running through my head but lets just start with those ones for now.

Thanks in advance.

If you're gonna buy a mini maxx be sure you get the race version. Street version does not support deletes.

Additionally, I would go ahead and get at least a DPF delete pipe along with the MM as you can generally get them in a package and save a little bit.

I have been running mine in street until my warranty expires. You won't get noticeably better mileage but it does make the truck a lot better to drive. Plus now that I have them I don't know what I did before I had the gauges to monitor.

The nice thing about the mini maxx is the shift on the fly. A functionality which I will continue to enjoy with gearhead tunes. Everything I have read on these forums points to him having the best tunes ( both engine and trans) and being VERY easy to work with....

hate to break it to you, but street tuners absoultely support deletes... H&S doesn't support them supporting deletes, but they most certainly do.

Does that mean I could order a street tuner and do the deletes down the road with it or no?

Interesting. Good to know I guess. I was under the impression you had to purchase an unlock code to render the street tuner delete capable and that the code was fairly expensive.
