Which EGR/DPF delete and Tuner should i get for my 08 6.4L stock F450 Lariat

Just got a 08 F450 Lariat with the 6.4 and of course im getting some crappy mpg's. Im looking into doing the EGR/DPF delete with a tuner and i was hoping i could get some suggestions for what i should get.

Plus Im getting around 12.5mpg average stock right now, so with a tuner and the delete kits what kind of mpg do you think id see?

New to the powerstrokes and would love any input. Thanks.

As far as……… what kind of deletes……… IDK what to suggest, but I can tell you on mine (deleted since day one) I get 11.5 mpg according to the lie-o-meter witch could be around 10 mpg…….or so………..hand calculated.
DELETING is to enhance performance and avoid future problems NOT to improve your MPGs. 95% of repairs on these trucks are emission related.
You might get up to 1 mpg more if you delete…….but THAT’S IT.

Yeah it's the turbo system and poor flowing heads that are the reason of your mileage. But definitely delete it. For egr delete kits and programmers just search

Plenty of nice delete tuning options out there... the hard part is now finding one reasonably priced! I'm personally an H&S fan, but the tuner prices have sky rocketed since the whole EPA crackdown making it hard to justify the purchase.

Good luck!

On top of that I just seen your in a 450. An 08, so you probably have 4.88? My bossmans '10 450 with 4.30s stayed in the 11s empty with Spartan, CAI, 4" Exhaust, Egr delete
