6.4 Intercooler upgrade

I have searched and have not found very much about intercoolers in a 6.4. Is it worth the ridiculous amount of money for an aftermarket cooler? Ive been looking at mishimoto with the new cold side pipe and CXracing. The CX is the cheapest I can find and it looks to be very similar to others besides the cast tanks like banks and mishimoto. CX and spearco dont have cast tanks.

Any advice or experience would be appreciated.

i like the afe a lot.

noticeable gains:
more power in lower rpms
less turbo lag
quick throttle response
lower egts- i used to hit defuel when WOT but now defuel comes on from boost instead of egts.
engine temps same year round even in 100*+ in texas summer.

seems like theres not much gain numerically in horsepower but im pretty happy with the diffences and engancements.

I would go with a No Limit. That way you can get the cold side, hot side and intake all from one place. Mike knows his stuff.

The CX racing intercooler looks like a really good value especially since it comes with piping.

CX racing intercooler and piping is a dang near copy of the no limit. That's what it is.

Sure is, there has been issues in the past with CX Racing using pictures of products and installed products that wasn't even theirs. If you can't take a picture of your own product that was installed or you are trying to sell, then what are you trying to hide? That's the way I see it
