DPF-R+ or DPF-R and SCT Tune

I'm looking at doing away with my DPF and EGR and I need a tuner to program it. Has anyone had good luck with the DPF-R tuner from Gearboxz?

If so should I go with the DPF-R+ or just stack the DPF-R with another tuner (I was thinking SCT)

Can someone help me out? I really don't have over $1,000 to dump into a tuner like the Spartan or the Mini-maxx.

Thank you.

You cant stack with a programmer like sct. It has to be a tuner like Banks or edge juice. And if you are going to do that go with the regular dpf-r because I am pretty sure that if you want to stack the dpf-r+ you have to put it into stock power mode because you cant run the 70hp with other power tuning

Well that helps a little, any opinions on the Edge juice? I'm not looking to break a dyno or anything just get some good mpg and a little power boost.

Any advice on the DPF-R? as long as it doesn't throw codes I guess it does what it's supposed to.

I have seen people and had a buddy that run the dpf-r (not the plus) that he didn't have a lick of problems with. He ended up taking it off and putting a Spartan on because he wanted more power so he done that but like I said it done everything just fine. As for edge, I think their products are okay, and even banks products are pretty good

I'm running a gearbox dpf-r 4.0 on just the dpf delete setting and have an sct 3015 stacked on it and it's running just fine.... I put the gearbox on first and then downloaded the sct on the performance tune and it's still running strong!

I do not see any reason why you could not stack an SCT programmer on top of a dpf-r performing delete only functions. You just have to make sure that if you are running the 70hp version of the gearboxZ, you do not load the 70hp portion of the tune. Just the dpf/egr delete portions.

Hmmm... maybe I stand corrected.
I thought I read where gearbox stated that it would only run with inline pieces like the edge juice and banks
