I am in the same boat as you.....If Matt has no release date as of June 1st, I too will start looking farther into the SCT tuner...hate to do that, as I wanted the DashDaq...but I also want more HP than the 135 tune I currently have

My old F150 used a SCT tuner with custom tunes and worked like a champ... I am betting money come June 1st, we are all getting Livewires. I have been keeping an eye on the Spartan release but I budgeted my tuner purchase for June. Too many bills in April/May.

Well, I'm waiting for Matt at Spartan to get his stuff out. Just by talking with him, he is a stand up guy. "Good things come to those that WAIT" I'm waiting......just my two cents.......

I agree with PAHRUMP if Matt can not sell his tuner by June 1st I have to go elsewhere. I think Matt is a stand up guy but if you guys think about it we have waited a very very long time and we still do not know if it will be another week or another month or maybe 6months. Who would have thought six months ago we would still be waiting so it is possible. I will have to call him and tell him not to run my CC if something is not in concrete by June. kinda makes me wounder if DashDaq was the company to go with due to the fact they will not even tell Matt whats going on. Very bad business for a man like Matt that is doing what he can to run a good business. Maybe we should all call DashDaq and find out what the hold up is. Can they handle 400 to 500 calls a day.

Most of you guys have itchy feet as i think we all do. BUT if you wait for matt and the Dashdaq there is not going to be another monitor that is going to look cooler. I will wait however long it takes just to get that tune on that monitor.

OH I agree....I want the DashDaq cause of how it looks, I have a DPF delete tuner so I dont have itchy feet.

I have a itching for customer service, and for some reason I am not getting a good vibe here, I am certain that Matt can pull the most power out of these trucks, but at what cost if you ever have a problem? Will you be able to get ahold of him?

I hope that no one takes this the wrong way, but I swear its hard to sit and read all the praises from members when no one has even put their hands on the parts yet....weirdest thing I have ever come across.

Tell yall what.....I have a pink rabbit that lays golden eggs.....hes not ready for sale yet, but when he is....man what a money maker he will be....whos first in line?

That's just human nature. 98% will follow like sheep, with praise and glory over absoultely nothing more than a pipe dream, and ready to stone the person who asks the intelligent question..
One or two will actually be clue-d in...

I like Matt for what I can tell about him over a couple of phone calls.
I don't care for how he does business, and I can chalk that up to obvious inexperience with a bad situation. Hopefully, dealing and learning with this negative situation will help him in the future.

I know what he is up against. I feel for him because he "needs" a part of the puzzle that he is currently can not provide for himself, and nobody is doing Matt any favors........
Having said that, it's business. Just learn the lesson from Preston Tucker about the politics of business.

June 1st, or as soon as I can get the custon tune already uploaded into a tuner shipped by SCT, I'm buying it.
I certainly hope Matt can get it together before then because I would like to help him.
As far as the DashDaq, I'm not into flashy, indiscrete gadgets on my dash, or hanging from my windshield with unsightly wires.
I'm too anal for that kind of clutter.
I would upload the tune, watch the EGT gauge for a week to get a feel, then unplug it and toss it into the center console. So, I don't care which downloader it comes with..

I like the DashDaq..IDEA....for the GPS ability, even though its not ready yet, Iwant that part of it as I have to have a GPS in my truck for my work....finding people houses to go do my estimates is MUCH easier with the GPS....however..with that said...I currently have a GPS so I am not PINNED down to anything at the moment....I just want more power than my 135hp I have now.

The GPS potential is a nice upgrade, but it's still a "thing" sitting on the dash. I've got issues, I know...
Right now, I've got a Garmin Nuvi 670. Nice system.
My wife has the stock Sync Nav system in her Lincoln.
Next time I order a truck, I'm going with the stock unit. I like it much better because the mapping is much more detailed.
I may buy a stock system off of eBay for my truck if I can come across the right part #

Just get me a 250 tune without any frills today, and I'll be thrilled.........

Hell, if Matt can upload something from a laptop, I'll "Southwest" his butt up here tomorrow.
