6.4 Block Off Plates?

Just programmed truck with 6.4 SCT Livewire with dpf/cat delete , using street tune currently , installed S&B Intake .. Completely happy with results went from 11mpg average to 14.5 avg and looking to get longevity ( 300k with little maintenance)

.. My question is should I install the block plates ? The complete EGR delete removal is out of question right now due to cost ( labor) .. The sct has already disabled EGR - when progamming I selected turn off --- Thanks in advance - learned a-lot here already ///

Just did this at 116k - its been a good truck just replaced the radiator once at 100k and followed severe maintenance schedule // Its a 2008 f250 6.4 4x4

I would just leave it as is until you can do a full delete. Doing a full delete is also not that bad, you can do it yourself

The dash is super in accurate when tuned especially with H&S, Spartan or SCT canned tunes. The only tunes that I have found to be fairly accurate is gearhead tunes.

The only way to check mileage is hand calculate. You should be getting 600 miles to a tank if you are getting that mileage. I only get around 330-350 out of a tank and I have been tuned since 1000 miles

Thinking about getting rid of the stock 6.7 turbo?
Check this out... and research before buying
