H&S tuner advice

I am looking to buy a used h&S tuner. I think I want a mini maxx or a black maxi.

1 What is the difference between black maxi and mini maxi?

2 What price should I pay?

3 Any pitfalls with a used tuner?

4 Will all h&s tuners work? or are some proprietary to specific engines?

I eventually want to delete the egr but not right now.

Pricing right now is up. I would say you will more than likely pay around 11-1200 for a used mini maxx. The screen is clearer on the mini maxx than black maxx, the mini will be easier to find also since they had discontinued the black maxx for a while. No pitfalls other than making sure that the tuner is a Race tuner and is also unlocked. All H&S should work with a 6.4

Black Maxx in my opion is better i have had both mini and maxx. Mini is too mini. Both have the same options only size is difference. Got my new mini maxx offroad 3 months ago for $1200.

13 F250 Lariat CC SB 3.31 EL axle w/SPE full lock module, Ultimate Interior,
H&S Big Single 64mm NON VGT Turbo Kit, Cast manifolds, NON Cobra downpipe, Mini MAxx w/H&S stock fuel tune

If you are buying used you either have to take their word or if you are able to buy it in person you can plug it in and go to settings or vehicle info I cant remember off the top of my head but it will tell you under tune status

^^ Yup wood has it right, in person is best then plug it in and go to the menus. Make sure no VIN locked into it and make sure no Serial # is posted (true Race), if there is a serial number then it is a Street tuner and may(**) not do the EGR delete.

All H&S will fit all vehicles they cover, the new street tuners for 2013+ but for your 6.4 no issues.

110% make sure the unit is not locked to a truck, some guys are forgetting to un-marry/reporgram their trucks before trading it in, you will have to send to H&S and pay more to have it fixed up for your truck.
