Julian (What tuner are youy using now) DashDaq ?

We are pulling through NC on Friday, going to hookup with Matt & pick up the the new DashDaq & his three tunes 75,125,200 all with Regen delete.
Question is do you have any time on the new DashDaq & do you like the new platform?

I will not have the delete pipe installed yet, when we get back to Canada from our trip I will complete the install.

Will keep the group up dated!

Thanks.....Chris

I was thinking the same thing, if the delete pipe has the bungs for the sensors, then it should function correctly without any problems. Then all you have to do is add the tune.

At least that's the way I've understood the purpose of having the bungs on the DPF delete pipe. Correct me if I've mis-understood the purpose.

No I don't have the new program unit or DashDaq yet.....I think when I head up to SSS I'll be making a detour to see them so they can look at the truck and tune it for me. I talked to Mike as soon as I got her off the dyno cuz the truck was no where near 500HP.....he said that they really need to look at it so thats what I'm going to do......I highly suggest you don't run the programming till you get the delete pipe on

So your saying the regen disable is a switchable option on that tuner?

From what I understood this is not how it works.

I've heard that with the SCT and Spartan/KEM you can switch modes or you will be able to switch very shortly. Something new I think. Not sure what the advantage would be, especially if the dpf itself is not deleted. Anyway, consumers will have more options...

The SCT livewire 9623 you can chose DPF on or off on version 1.1.8 if you got lucky and got a copy of it with you serial number on it. The 1.2.0 is DPF OFF only. SCT is working on another update to give the customer back the option.

The Spartan tuner will be able to tune for use w/ or without the DPF. The DPF-on tunes will be the lower hp tunes as the higher ones would send your truck into a regen-freak session as the increased soot would clog it real soon. I think Matt said like the 75-100hp tunes would be ok but certainly not the 200/250 tunes.

Stay Tuned

Sounds good.

If you had to put the DPF back on for inspection or something at least you could still use the tuner.
