The stock setting should be the safest. Ive had mine on that for 16xxx miles now with no problems, but with anything mechanical , anything is possible.

H&S tuned. B&W gooseneck hitch with Companion 5th wheel. Helwig rear sway bar. Edge CTS monitor. Dieselsite coolant filter. Rancho 9000 shocks. Airlift 5000 air bags with onboard compressor. Viair onboard air with 5 gal tank. Flo-pro stainless 4 in. exhaust.

like ive said before I know guys who run hd300 daily with a heavy foot and have had no issues and I know of guys with bone stock trucks who have blown them....but obviously the higher hp tune the bigger the risk so if you keep it on stock chances are you wont be going into to shop any time soon or at all for HG

So true.....My famous words are "Just Run It." Everything has a breaking point, and you have to pay to play. With that said, what SRJD said is a legit answer.

I've ran on wild and occasionally hot and occasionally mild and even more occasionally stock for the last 60k miles (3 years) and not 1 single issue related. I tow, I off road in winter, I drive to the grocery store and post office, etc. I don't race though.

I got my MM about a month ago. I now run on HOT300 all the time. I drive VERY conservativly. I am actually more entertained watching my MPH gauge go up than the tach from every light. I am starting to speculate that the real issues with this tuner is when people are pulling. I pull NOTHING....like at all. That being said, keep boost defuel lower and EGTs w/in reason and I have justified in my head that it will be fine. The day it is NOT fine, yall will be the 1st to know b/c I will be on here crying!!!lol
