6.4L Performance Parts Discussion What has or has not worked for you?

H+S XRT Pro questions.

I recently installed an h+s xrt pro on my 6.4 and honestly am not really that impressed with it. I have it set to the 120hp tune which is the highest can tune on there. I would like to do some custom tuning but im not sure if this tuner can handle it. There are 2 versions of this tuner on their website but one is discontinued and the details about it are a little vague. Any body know what these can handle for custom tuning or even if they can? And if they can who should I see?

they cant handle custom tuning. You need a mini maxx or a black maxx that is compatible with MCC software

If you were to run the delete tuning you would be alot more impressed.

I have the older version of the XRT Pro that was purchased back in 2011. I run the HD300 tune on mine. You just have to download it from the site.


Are you sure you have the latest updates? You need an mini SD Card adapter to due the update and download the proper tunes from H&S

If you are limited to 120 hp you have a late street version of the XRT pro without DPF delete. The XRP pro race ( no longer available from H&S) allows up to 250 hp with DPF delete and is a whole different tune.
