xrt tunes for best mileage

hi, guy's i have a 2010 f350 6.4 sd auto tran 373 gears with dpf removed k&n filter stock air box everything else stk. trying to get max fuel milage. i'm using a h&s xrt pro tuner i installed a year ago, what tune have you guy's found to get best milage i have heard hot dam 300 have not tried the top setting on hot dam. have heard guy's stretching head bolts,on the upper tunes. i'm just using trk to pull horse trailer and i don't hot rod the truck. are you ok running hot tune as long as you keep your foot off the small pedal?? thanks for any help i can receive. brian

Typically most people get the best mileage in the highest hp tune which would be the hd300 set on the hot setting. As long as you drive sensibly you should be fine. I've had it loaded for almost 30,000 kms so far and it has been great. Just remember that problems could arise at any time even if you run the lowest tune so it's all dependent on if there is a problem that's just waiting to poke its head up.
