I actually just put one of these on my truck and I'm not really sure at how much more power it gave it. It definitely woke it up and it sounds awesome. I've heard other 6.4s that were straight piped and for some reason, mine just has more of a 6.0 sound to it. Also, I noticed that it elevated my idle RPMs as well. Before they were between 650 and 750. Now they're 950ish. Anyone else know if this is normal?
You need to plug the egt sensors back in and the pressure sensor to your harness. They don't need to be in the exhaust. Just plugged in and zip tied to the frame rail. That's what's causing the high idle.
