EGR Delete, What else?

I think my EGR is Leaking coolant, so i plan on deleting it soon. is there anything else i should do at the same time? i plan on doing a coolant flush and switching to ELC along with a coolant filter. Should i change the thermostats while i am at it? Do they go bad that often? Anything else that makes sense to do at the same time?

I would do the thermostats while you are in there.

I would also change the t stats. Also if your radiator hoses arent the updated ones might as well get the updated hoses while you are draining the coolant. Also if you have the money the CAC pipe.

yeah i would like to do the CAC pipe also but im not sure the wife will go for it what about the updated degas bottle i have been reading about? is it worth the effort to change?

It doesnt really do anything. It has the fill lines lower so you wont overfill and puke coolant. It also only has one port for the coolant return. I have been wanting to upgrade it but i havent yet. I probably would since you doing all that work to your cooling system.
