DieselSite Transmission Filter Install Problems.

First off the filter setup is great and instructions are great. Now the problems. Where you install the fitting from the cooler return line rubs the line going back into the trans from the new filter. Also all the connections at the filter ( I.E. flare line, brass fittings all) are leaking. Did I do something wrong or is something messed up? I'll be calling dieselsite tomorrow and having my mechanic buddy look at it to tell me if I screwed something up.

Ya my lines touch as well.

As for the flare fittings leaking, did you use a flare nut wrench and are they still tight?

Also remember you can't use Teflon tape on those flare fittings connections.

Yep used that special flare fitting wrench and didn't use Teflon on flares fitting only on the connection at the filter head and the conextors

I'm actually about to head into the office here in a minute - we get there a wee bit before the phones turns on - do you wanna shoot me a PM with your phone number so I can have someone call you as soon as I get in? John's pretty good about being there before I am.

Or of course you can always call us during the office hours. I normally answer the phones but I have this terrible sore throat type thing I got while I was up in KY this weekend and I might stick Sheryl (mom) on phone duty and just let them know to expect your call.

Just PM me and let me know what you'd like me to do!

Ya that's the line. Passenger side tail of the transmission. Ya the pics on the instructions were taken from a perspective that is difficult to get to, from below.

Mine leaked too when I mated the hoses and fittings incorrectly. I wish I could remember which part went with what. Hopefully you found the solution.
