the part number cross references but what you have to watch out for is different filters filter down to different microns. Do a search on here or google and you will see the comparison. sorry im not much help. A buddy of mine needed new filters and i did the same searching and i think air dog filters filtered to the lowest micron I believe if i remember correctly.

Yeah, if the AD filters are the best quality, I dont wanna settle for less.
Sometimes you will see the very same thing, with a different name @ a different price...ha ha.

the best filters you can buy are
donaldson P551315 filter
baldwin BF1275 Water sep.

bought them from Filter Products - equipment parts - Donaldson, Baldwin, Des-Case, Wilson, Ingersoll Rand - alternators, air & electrical starters, bag, engine & hydraulic filters, bearings

i read like nine million posts and came to this conclusion. Not exactly 9 million but a lot of posts

Donaldson Filters for Air Dog II

Just had a good experience with everythingtruckparts.com

They have the Donaldson filters for the Air Dog II (P551315 and P550550) on ebay for $39 shipped. But if you go to their website, the filters are better priced.

I spoke with Tom on the phone and made an order for a couple sets. Nice guy to speak with.

And no I don't work for them in case anyone is wondering...

Thank you guys, for your info & input.
I think the oil & fuel filter quality are more crucial on these trucks………than oil or fuel itself.
