Intercooler pipes: Is there truly any power gain, or just "throttle response" ?

Curious what ya'll have experienced with aftermarket intercooler pipes.

'08 F250 Regular Cab 4x4 (sold)
MBRP dpf delete
MBRP intercooler pipe
S&B intake
IDP/ SCT tuned
Suncoast Trans (built by Quin Trans in Lompoc, CA)
Eaton Tru-Trac
12.76 @ 105.50, 1.80 60ft (before trans or intercooler pipe)

Larger inter cooler pipes actually reduce air velocity and often increase turbulence where the pipe widens

Better throttle response. Look at where and how much the cold side pipe is compressed and restricted. Every turbocharged motor I replaced with rounder and smoother pipe saw positive gains. You may not see or measure much difference with normal driving but the more power you add or run the bigger the difference.
