SCT/Gearhead

Can you use a SCT-9625-OR to run Matt's Gearhead tunes, I just seem to have a SCT laying around and feel like trying some new tunes. Love my Spartan but like to try different.. If you know what I mean!!

Placed an order for the Street/Hot Street, Larz said you get a tow tune when you order a package. The smokeless part is important in today's EPA hassles.

That's the same package I have and if you tow heavy you will appreciate the 40hp tow tune. I have yet to run the Street tune because I love the Hot Street so much hahaha. I did lose some mpg over the canned SCT tunes though.

They stated that even with my weight I would use the Street tune, said tow was only 40hp over stock. Being the weekend I'll try and get more info next week from them.

Hoping to have my SCT Tues/Weds, and getting tunes from Gearhead too. Pricing was very good, and when you toss in a free tow tune with a 2 or 3 tune package, they are even better than my 6.0 tune cost was.

Gonna grab the street and hot street, then the free tow tune as I do tow pretty heavy(in my books), about 1-2 times a month.

Anyone seeing a MPG improvement from one tune to another? I had the economy tune on my 6.0 and saw about 2mpg better with it, but the lack of power sucked.

Being the tow is only 40 hp over stock I will most likely use the Street tune for towing. Hopefully I will get info to pay/ order today.
For fuel mileage I get real descent mpg with my Spartan I'm sure I'll get close to what I get with the 250/275 Spartan tunes I normally run, for towing the weight I do I'm always happy if I get 12 using the 210hp tune, I'll play with all of them and find out.

I know a lot of people tow on the high hp tunes but I'm paranoid about it so if its more than my Bass boat I turn down to a tow tune or stock.
