Transmission Build. What parts do I need?

I'm planning to build the old transmission out of my truck, I haven't found anything on what parts I should put in it. Only mods I have at the moment are in my Sig. But I plan on doing more down the road
But when I build it is there a kit? or do I buy individual parts? Either way what would you guys recommend?

When I rebuilt my transmission I got every billet part that elite sells and their comp kit with extra clutches. My brother has the same kit in his 6.4 and both have been awesome. It's basically the stage 4 kit they sell.

If I may, about how much did that cost you in parts? Did you do the rebuild yourself or have someone do it?

I did it myself, iirc it was about 6k but that is with a brand new pump (600), all new solenoids (700), and RCD converter (1200).

I just had to put a used one in mine, and it's not going to hold up for long. Just had to get the truck back on the road.
Would you say I need new solenoids and a new front pump when I do it? and You like your tranny with the Elite parts?

I'm not sure if they are needed, my old trans was tore up pretty bad and I really didn't want to put it all together and have some trash be in there and fuk it up again. Lol so far I'm loving the new trans. It shifts perfect and firm.

Yeah I can understand that then, and Did you go with the Elite competition clutches? I'm trying to make a parts list to see how much this will cost me.
