What upgrades???

Hey guys recently paid my truck off and it's now out of the warranty period.. It's not a daily driver however when I use it I'm either pulling a trailer or making shorter trips around town.

I'd like to get some kind of monitoring panel to see the engine vitals, and of course would also like better fuel econ... I know the DPF Delete is pretty much the only way to get better mileage HOWEVER I'm in California and I would just have to put all the OEM emissions crap back on every other year to get it smogged... so unless there's some sort of "quick change" DPF delete kit... I wouldn't be able to do that...

Any suggestions??
