Sound like questions you should have asked before you bought. I am sure SCT will take care of some things as long as it has not been tampered with.

it seemed like a solid unit from what i read on it, but when it got here it seems to be kind of flimsy.

Livewire is solid. It is a brick honestly LOL. I tune with it and throw it in center console.

I'm wondering if I should buy a livewire I got offered for 100$ it's the dpf delete model but the screen goes out like 30 seconds after it turns on. Is that a cheap fix that Would cost less than what a new one would go for?

Emailed sct last week and they said it was 65 to replace the screen. But that sounds like a different issue. Something to do with the electronic board. Email them and see, the customer service is great. And make sure it's unlocked!
