Back from deployment love the 6.4!!!

I just want to thank all of you for the information that you put on this site. I was recently deployed to Afghanistan and looking at buying a truck(diesel). Found this forum and asked a few questions, read a lot. Bought a 08 f250, mini maxx, k&nCAI and a 5" DP back stainless exhaust. Returned home itching to drive this truck. Drove it stock 60miles home from the airport and loved it. The next day went to a buddies house and installed the tuner with dpf present, wow what a difference! The installed the exhaust and intake later that day...... Holt sh?! These things are animals. I love it. The truck before this was a 2002 GMC 2500hd 8.1 liter that goes good but nothing absolutely nothing like the beast of a 6.4! And the straight ax in the front is just rugged. Thank you all!!Back from deployment love the 6.4!!!-image.jpg

Firstly, thank you for your service!! It is greatly appreciated!

Second- I noticed your truck has the old style side mirrors, those aren't the right ones for this truck. What's up with that?

Have you deleted the dpf yet? You'll be amazed once you get that thing off of there

Awesome! No those mirrors are from the 99-07 years. No 08's or later years have them.

Thanks for your Service to our Country. Good Looking Truck.. After I got my tuner, CAI, and exhaust done, I told my wife I needed a parachute for this truck. LOL.

Nice truck and thanks for your service . On a side note think about replacing that k&n cai. I have heard bad things about them.
