6.4 Trans breaking limits?

Just got a 6.4 with 40k on it. Been running the H&S with dpf for now. Should have it deleted by this week. My question is what are the breaking limits for these trans? Hard driving easy driving? Hd300 wondering how it will last and also how the trans tuning is with the H&S? My trucks an 09 so no Job 1 or 2. Just wondering what people have been getting out of their trans? Thanks.

If you run the piss out of it every day on the HD300 tune, it wont last long at all. Theyre a very strong trans from the factory, but the HD tune will tear it to shreads in no time if you beat on it.

I have 227k on my truck and I run Spartans 310 tune as my DD and my trans is still chugging me along. Yes I do drive it easy for the most part but I have been known to get on it

When you say the hd tune do you mean the 300 or all of them will tear it apart. I usually run the hd 225. Is that still worse then the non hd 275?

If your talking to me, I just meant the higher horsepower tunes (In general) will damage it quickly if you continue to abuse it.

Trans life all depends on how you drive.

600 rwhp is about the limit, some have pushed them much further but at that rate its a matter of time before it lets go. Even at 600 hp if you beat on it a lot it will wear out like anything else, its the most stout transmission made though in stock form ( save for the 6R140, but thats a whole other subject ).
