Towing heavy with Spartan?

I have been successfully towing a 6000 lb travel trailer with a Spartan tuned F250 SDCC using the 210 tune for the past 2 years. We just upgraded to a 11,000 lb fifth wheel. Can I still tow that weight on the 210 tune safely or should I be going back closer to stock?

Thanks in advance for any input!

I was always told to tow in stock mode UNLESS you have a specific tow tune, Since youve moved up to towing 11,000 pounds i would lower the tune much closer back to stock...

Thats just me

Thumbs up Tow tune

I have a f350 and tow around 15,000 5th wheel and I use the Spartan 210 hp/ negr never an issue, living up here in Washington state there is always a mountain pass to climb to get to the east side of the state and never have an issue with the 210 everything stays within specs, always use the 210. an enjoy the ride/pull. Use the 210 you will be happy with the performance.

you can tow in any tune you want as long as you can control your right foot... which can be an issue for a lot of us. As long as your temps stay down and your not puching from a stop and over stressing the driveline you'll be ok.

I tow a 12,000 pound toy hauler on the 210 tow tune for the last 10k miles, so far works killer, no issues.

What boost pressures are you guys seeing towing? I towed about 6000lbs in a covered trailer last weekend. On a smooth grade on highway I was at around 15 lbs and any sorts of hill I was at 33-40LBS of boost. A large amount of the 3 hour drive i was low 20's. Wondering if this is pushing too hard or if I'm being paranoid. EGTs were 800-1000, trans temp was happy and I was enjoying going 80 with that trailer.
